Sales Product Manager, San Francisco

Our Client:
Our client, a leader in life science is seeking a Sales Product Manager based in San Francisco
 
Territory: 
  • Occasional travel with Reps for demo purposes
  • 30% travel with mileage

Compensation:
  • Base $90-$110K (up to $120K for exceptional candidate) DOE
  • + Bonus program 7.5% base pay based on company/personal performance
    • Bonus’ paid annually in April
  • Full benefits that start day 1
  • 401K

Education an Experience:
  • B.S/B.A  in life science required, preferably advanced degree
  • 1-3 years’ marketing experience
  • 3-5 years’ sales experience—in the life sciences or medical device industry
    • No pharmaceutical sales reps

Responsibilities
  • Educate and train sales team regarding products, selling techniques, competitive positioning, marketing campaigns and sales skills.
  • Analytical skills with strong technical abilities
  • Ability to communicate with life science researchers
  • Hands-on experience and competitive knowledge of liquid handling products helpful
  • Understanding/experience with life science laboratory experimental workflows and processes.
  • Must have a professional manner, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated planning/organizational skills
  • Demonstrates exceptional problem solving, decision-making and negotiation skills
  • Experience creating logical and well-crafted content for a variety of marketing tools.
 
A successful candidate:
  • Comfortable with consistent interaction with senior product managers, sales reps, sales managers and customers.
  • Has sense of urgency and has a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Can identify continuous improvement opportunities, multi-task in a demanding environment
  • Must be flexible and able to handle high volume of work and deadlines.

Requirements:
  • Must have Green Card or be a US citizen
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
