Business Director, MID WEST  Job #230101
 
Our client:
Is a leader in high-definition spatial proteomics, revolutionizing tissue imaging and analysis to accelerate medical discovery. They seek a Sales Director (sole contributor) to strategically drive sales of capital equipment, software and reagents in the Midwestern region. Any major city to cover Midwest.

Territory:
  • Based in any major city in the Midwest with large airport.
  • Covering: Midwest from MN, South to TX, West to NE, East to OH.
  • Travel 50% depending on
  • Targeting the academic, pharma and biotech institutions in the region
Compensation:
  • Base salary $120-140k DOE
  • +$100,000 variable comp at plan.
  • STOCK OPTIONS !!
  • Uncapped commissions are paid quarterly. Commission guarantee when starting!
  • Mileage at government rate
  • Full benefits including a matching 401k, unlimited vacation plus 7 Stat holidays
  • Laptop, cell phone, and Internet paid
Education:
  • BS, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the Midwestern region, work strategically
  • Drive business in in tissue imaging workflow labs specializing in infectious disease, oncology and immunology.
  • Present to C suite level management value propositions.
  • Create a pipeline of business by identifying and qualifying stakeholders
  • Possess high-level cross-company and partner engagement skills and a strong sense of purpose direction and leadership. 
  • The Business Director must have excellent English speaking and writing skills, computer fluency with Microsoft, SalesForce etc.
Experience:
  • Job stability, relationship builder, able to keep long sales cycles moving to close.
  • Proven success developing multimillion dollar regions.
  • 10 years plus of sales experience with over achievement of sales quotas selling large capital equipment systems, software or services. 
  • Success at selling imaging technologies is ideal. Microscopy and imaging background highly desired.
  • Experience selling systems valued at over $250k.
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of business strategy and goal setting.
Standard Requirements:
  • Must have Green Card or be a US citizen
  • Must possess and maintain a current Passport
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
