Job #200901 Sales Manager, Sensors, New England

Our client is experiencing double-digit growth as a leader in the bioprocess industry. They offer measuring solutions for a complete measurement loop, including sensors for pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, viable and total cell density and ORP, housings, calibration solutions, cables and transmitters. The products are backed by over 50 years of engineering and manufacturing expertise in innovative design.

Territory:
  • Covering MA, (excluding Cambridge) VT, ME, NH, NY, based in the greater Boston area
  • Expect 35-40% travel
 
Compensation:
  • Base salary ranges from $85k-$110k DOE
  • Base+ $60k@ plan
               Commissions paid MONTHLY NO CAPS on the commissions!

Education:
  • Must have four year degree.  (preference for degrees in Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering)
 
Experience:
  • Reps with 3-5 years’ sales experience in the process analytics market is a plus.  This is a direct sales position.
  • Requires strong understanding of biopharmaceutical, food and beverage and chemical processing industries.
  • Technical background in analytical chemistry, electrochemistry or instrumentation technology.
  • Reps currently selling products for fermentation, electrochemistry, cell culture and bioprocess may have the correct background.

  • Someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, takes initiative, accepts accountability
  • Has sense of urgency and has a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Must be coachable with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams
  • Can identify continuous improvement opportunities, multi-task in a demanding environment
  • Must be flexible and able to handle high volume of work and deadlines.
  • Must have excellent negotiation skills to close sales and meet gross profit targets
 
Requirements:
  • Must possess and maintain a current Passport
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
