- Our client develops, manufactures and markets products that simplify, automate and innovate complex biomedical testing.
- This job involves OEM responsibility with clients for the automation instruments, targeting life science and IVD sectors. This is a sole contributor role.
Territory:
- Eastern USA.
- Ideal locations would be:
- Chicago,
- Philadelphia,
- DC,
- Baltimore,
- Boston,
- New York,
- Charlotte/Raleigh areas.
- Must be close to a major airport.
- Travel 25%, once client relationship is established, expect travel as necessary when prospecting and closing business.
Compensation:
- TOP PERFORMERS are making over $200k annually
- $90-120k DOE +~$55k at plan,
- Commission paid monthly on capital sales
- Full benefits, 401K etc.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 5+ years ‘ sales experience selling AUTOMATION EQUIPMENT to clinical diagnostics and process automation industries.
- Proven ability to sell at C suite levels.
- Knowledge of the diagnostics, and process automation industries.
- Ability to hunt new business develop a pipeline and build on current business at key accounts.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior time management skills and the ability to complete tasks.
- Experience with long sales cycles and how to keep the sales process moving to completion.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Or BS in other life science areas (chemistry, biochemistry, biology)
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales forecast for the region.
- OEM responsibility with clients for the automation instruments.
- Function as the main contact for all Robotic OEM accounts in the East .
- Close interaction with R&D, and Manufacturing Engineering for customized parts and production.
- Manage and coordinate support with in-house R&D, Product Support and Market Segment Managers.
Requirements:
- Must have valid credit card and be able to pay for reimbursable expenses.
- Must have Green Card or be a US citizen
- Must possess and maintain a current Passport
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
