Particle Characterization product Sales Rep

Our client is a leader in particle characterization products. They require a sales rep who will target Academic, Pharmaceutical, Government and Biotech accounts. Instruments range from $10k to $70k but bundled deals can be ~$300k.
Experience completing a complex sale involving capital equipment is a must.

Territory:

• Based in Denver, St. Louis or Kansas City
• Residence in the territory is required
• Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota

Compensation:

• Commissions paid MONTHLY
• Base $70k - 80k
• +$65k@ plan
• Company van
• Full benefit package

Environment:

• The work environment for this position is both office and field sales activity.
• Extensive driving throughout the territory is expected, as well as air travel.
• This is a physically demanding job. Demo equipment will be stored in lockers in Denver and St. Louis to facilitate transport.
• The field sales activity will take this individual into customers’ locations and physical activity (e.g. lifting/carrying of materials and equipment 50-60 lbs.) occurs.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in field with 2+ years’ sales experience
• Master’s degree in field with 1+ years’ sales experience

Experience:

• 2 years of sales experience depending on education
• Demonstrated track record of success ideally in a Life Sciences sales area

Requirements:

• Must have Green Card or be a US citizen
• Must possess and maintain a current Passport
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
