Entry Level Sales Trenton, NJ:
Our client wants a go getter with 1-2 years of sales experience, (life science, inside sales or B2B) for a major distributor of lab equipment and consumables (PCR instruments, electrophoresis, tissue culture products, plastic ware). You must be a highly reliable self starter.

Our client wants a go getter with 1-2 years of sales experience, (life science, inside sales or B2B) for a major distributor of lab equipment and consumables (PCR instruments, electrophoresis, tissue culture products, plastic ware). You must be a highly reliable self starter.
Territory:
- East PA/NJ area.
- NJ major accounts include: Rutgers (Newark/Piscataway), Rowan, Princeton, Univ of, DE
- PA major accounts include Drexel/Hahnemann, ICON labs, Lakenau & Lehigh
- Based in Trenton area
- Ideally living ~30 minutes from Rutgers University.
The Compensation:
- Expected first year total income (salary and commission) ~ $80K plus benefits.
- PLUS car allowance, $300 per month
- iPad and cell phone.
- There is a large upside to the incentive due to lack of penetration in this very active and well-funded geography.
- An overachiever can exceed $100K in total compensation.
- Top reps with several years in their territory are making ~$180k
Education:
B.S. in Scientific Discipline is preferred but not required.
Special Dispensations :

- Will accept an inside sales rep who wants outside sales.
- Will accept a lab tech that has some solid sales experience.
A successful candidate:
- Someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, takes initiative, accepts accountability
- Has sense of urgency and has a proven track record of delivering results.
- Has a natural drive to delight the customer through innovative thinking and exceptional execution
- Has the ability to lead and influence cross-functional business units
- Can identify continuous improvement opportunities, multi-task in a demanding environment
- Must be flexible and able to handle high volume of work and deadlines.
- Must be hungry, keen to knock down doors!
Requirements
- Must have Green Card or be a US citizen
- Must possess and maintain a current Passport
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
