- Seeks an instrument specialist to sell
- Imaging cameras and microscopes
- Imaging Systems

- Ideally based in Boston or New York area to cover the North East/Mid-Atlantic regions (ranging from PA-NJ to New York & New England)
- Expect 50% overnight travel when necessary
- Base $80k-120k, DOE
- + $40k variable comp @plan, UNCAPPED paid quarterly Commissions paid from dollar one
- Car mileage as per government rates
- All expenses, vacation+ Stat holidays
- Full benefits, 401K with 6% match
- 5+ years sales of direct experience in life science selling technical capital equipment worth $80k or more to academic and biopharma accounts. One DOES NOT have to have sold microscopes in the past, a post doc who is working with imaging equipment will be considered. Sales experience with imaging equipment essential.
- Understanding of imaging systems laboratory work flow and technical expertise is required.
- The client will consider a salesy post doc with strong imaging/microscopy background or an imaging FAS who wants a direct sales role.
- Must be well organized and able to prioritize opportunities, identify the stake holders and qualify customers for needs, budget and urgency.
- This is a consultative strategic sale. The sales rep will be responsible for setup, demonstrating & installing the instrument systems. Must have the ability to work in a team.
- B.S. in Scientific Discipline with preference for a post graduate degree
Requirements:
- Must have Green Card or be a US citizen
- Must possess and maintain a current Passport
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
