Bioprocess Sales Manager, Seattle,    Job # 210704

Our client is a leader in the bioprocess industry. They offer measuring solutions for a complete measurement loop, including sensors for pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, viable and total cell density and ORP, housings, calibration solutions, cables and transmitters. The products are backed by over 50 years of engineering and manufacturing expertise in innovative design. This position is open due to a transfer.
 
Territory: 
  • BASED  in the Seattle or willing to relocate to Seattle
  • Covering the North West region states WA, OR, ID, MT, WY,
  • Key accounts include Lonza, AGC, Genentech & Just Bio to name a few
  • Expect 40% travel
 
Compensation:
  • Base salary ranges from $80k-$110k DOE Base+ $60k@ plan
  • Uncapped commissions paid MONTHLY

Education:
  • Must have four year degree.
 
Experience:
  • Sales rep with 2-5 years’ plus of bioprocess experience 
  • Requires strong understanding of
    • Biopharmaceutical,
    • Food
    • Beverage and
    • Chemical processing industries.
  • Ability to devise business plans and execute them, with strong sales record of over achievement and the internal drive to improve and succeed in one’s role.
  • Reps currently selling products for fermentation, cell culture and bioprocess may have the correct background. 
  • This is a direct sales, sole contributor role but must be a team player working with marketing and other in house teams.
  • Must be capable of a consultative sale, gathering stake holders and presenting a compelling “Total Bioprocess Solution” to the customers.
