Distribution Sales Manager, Boston based
Our client is experiencing double-digit growth as a leader in the bioprocess industry. Territory:
- Covering the North East states of:
- MA
- NH
- VT
- RI
- Expect 40% travel
Compensation:
- Base salary ranges from $85k-$110k DOE (some flexibility)
- Base+ $60k@ plan
- Commissions paid MONTHLY
- PLUS $30k of bonuses in $10k amounts when various metrics are achieved (paid immediately)
- That’s $90k in commissions/bonuses
- NO CAPS on the commissions!

Education:
- Must have four year degree.
Experience:
- Sales rep with 3-5 years’ of bioprocess experience
- Management experience with a team preferred.
- Requires strong understanding of biopharmaceutical, food and beverage and chemical processing industries.
- Reps currently selling products for fermentation, electrochemistry, cell culture and bioprocess may have the correct background.
- Must have experience selling via a distribution network and direct sales a plus.
This role will involve:
- Setting budgets and quotas
- Working with the distribution partners:
- Management teams
- Their reps
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills required.

- Someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, takes initiative, accepts accountability
- Has sense of urgency and has a proven track record of delivering results.
- Must be coachable with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams
- Can identify continuous improvement opportunities, multi-task in a demanding environment
- Must be flexible and able to handle high volume of work and deadlines.
- Must have excellent negotiation skills to close sales and meet gross profit targets
Requirements:
- Must possess and maintain a current Passport
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
