Field Service Engineer SALT LAKE CITY Job #160802

Our client develops, manufactures and markets products that simplify, automate and innovate complex biomedical testing.

Expansion Territory:

• Salt Lake City area only (radius of about 1 hour around the city)
• Daily travel, home at night, 85% of the travel is in the Salt Lake City vicinity
• INFREQUENT overnight travel but occasional back up when other FSEs are on vacation and travel for training sessions, meetings, etc.
• May accept a relocation at own expense.

Compensation:

• Base $70k (3-5 years’) to $90k (8-10 years’) with flexibility on the base for exception talent, salaried role, no overtime!
• Plus ~$6-8k annual bonus paid for incentives
• Government mileage ($.54/mile)
• Benefits include 401k, vacation time + 10 stat holidays.

Qualifications/Experience:

• 2+ years’ FSE experience in a biomedical field, preference for automation, robotics experience
• Bachelor's degree electronic technology or comparable experience
• Must have excellent English spoken and written 

Responsibilities:

• Will do preventive maintenance on robotic and automation instruments.
• Install and maintain instrumentation and systems in a life science laboratory environment.
• Resolves customers' problems and issues.
• Train non-technical lab personnel on highly technical material.

Requirements

• Able to lift/move 60 lb. instruments
• Must have Green Card or be a US citizen
• Must possess and maintain a current Passport
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle driving record.
